According to Sky Sports, Fernandes is on the approach of signing a new five-year contract with Manchester United, with 'hugely enhanced' conditions.

The 27-year-old, who has nine goals for United in all competitions this season, is set to earn £240,000 a week after signing a new contract, more than doubling his current income.
