Erik ten Hag, a Manchester United managing candidate, is said to have blown his opportunity of becoming Tottenham Hotspur manager after exhibiting "lack of charisma" and making "strange demands" during his interview.

According to sources, the 52-year-old is a candidate to become United's next permanent manager and has already been contacted by the club.

Spurs were interested in his services last summer, so this isn't the first time he's been connected with a Premier League club.

In his interview, Ten Hag is reported to have been 'too boring' and made a demand that perplexed the Spurs board.
