Richarlison, an Everton striker, may rue giving Liverpool's team talk ahead of the Merseyside derby on Sunday, claiming Virgil van Dijk is not the best defender in the world.

The Premier League champions will begin their 2019/20 season at Goodison Park on Sunday, when a win will put them just three points away from being named champions.

The Brazilian has listed THREE centre-backs he believes are better than the Dutch defender, who finished second in the 2019 Ballon d'Or race, and boasted that he is one of the few players who can dribble past him.

It's a strong statement from the forward, especially considering Everton hasn't beaten their Red rivals in almost TEN YEARS and he has only scored once against them.
