Due to an injury, Manchester United goalkeeper Paul Woolston was forced to retire at the age of 23.
After sustaining an undisclosed injury that necessitated two procedures and a protracted recuperation time, the former Newcastle United goalkeeper has been unable to return to full fitness.
Woolston played for Manchester United's under-23 team and for England up to the under-18 level.
Woolston's playing career has had to come to an end due of his'significant determination' to return to activity.
On social media, Man United announced his retirement, with the player expressing about his difficult decision.
"Having to retire at the age of 23 has been really difficult to accept, but I am much more optimistic today," he explained.
