Sir Alex Ferguson Swore At 15-Year-Old Down The Phone For Considering Rejecting Manchester United

When former Manchester United player Darren Fletcher was 15 years old, Sir Alex Ferguson launched a massive scream at him because he was considering leaving the club.

When the news reached Old Trafford, Ferguson was less than pleased, so he resolved to take care of it himself.

"So word got back to Sir Alex, and he called the house late one night, and my sister answered. 'Darren, here it is. 'It's for you,' says the narrator. It's simply the boss who is completely insane.

"He's f'ing and giving it to me down the phone, and I'm 15, just chalk-white. When my mother sees me, she snatches the phone, listens for a few seconds, then says, "Don't ever speak to my son like that again," and throws the phone down.
